Terri Ryan considers herself a late bloomer in the Catholic faith. A profound encounter with the Holy Spirit in her twenties gradually led to a deep conversion in her thirties—an answer, she believes, to her Grandma Margaret’s prayers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Theology and the History of the Social Sciences and a master’s degree in Pastoral Studies. Alongside her husband of 23 years, Deacon Scott Ryan, Terri also completed six years of spiritual, human, intellectual, and pastoral formation through the Office of the Permanent Diaconate. She has served in youth and adult ministry for 17 years, participated in music ministry as time allowed, and accompanied youth and adults exploring the Catholic faith through OCIA for seven years. She occasionally speaks on Catholic topics and currently serves as Director of Adult Faith Formation at St. Mary’s. Terri loves God, her husband, and her family—in that order—with cupcakes not far behind.
